SILICA Institute Organizes Exciting Ganesh Design Contest

Ganesh Chaturthi is one of the most popular festivals celebrated in India. Amidst the joyful occasion, which includes family gatherings, poojas and modaks, other things also make the festival interesting. One of the highlights of the occasion is the vast number of fascinating idols of all sizes and colours, created by amazing and skilled artisans in the country. Besides, Ganesha is well-known as the god of knowledge and creativity. While you welcome Ganesha into your homes, Silica Institute is organizing a Ganesh Design Contest that will enable you to unleash your creativity this festival season.


Why do we conduct Ganesha Design Contest

Since the inception of Silica Institute, the aim has always been to boost design education in India. The Ganesh Design Contest is yet another opportunity to promote creativity and innovative thinking in students. We firmly believe that there are scores of students who can explore the design field, grab limitless opportunities and make it big in their life. All they need is the right guidance. This contest also looks forward to creating awareness about design education and amazing career options for aspirants in India and the world.


Ganesh Design Contest History

This isn’t the first time Silica Institute has organized a Ganesha design contest. We have been doing this for more than 6 years now. Hundreds and thousands of students have participated in the exciting contest, displayed their talent and creativity and won many prizes as well. We believe this year it wouldn’t be any different. Here is your best chance to show your design skills like never before.

Contest Rules, Registration and Participation

In the Ganesh Design Contest, you have to create a Ganesh Design using different materials or mediums. You can use 2D or 3D design for the Ganesh idol or do a painting or drawing of Lord Ganesh. Note that the contest is conducted from September 9 – 16, 2021.

Participants need to post their designs on Instagram. Follow and tag Use #ganeshdesigncontest2021 #createwithsilica, and you are done. Silica Institute’s Expert Panel will choose 10 winners who will have the chance to win Gift Vouchers worth Rs 1500 each. Sounds interesting? Join the contest now!
