What to Carry on Exam Day
- Personal transparent water bottle
- Admit Card along with Self Declaration (Undertaking) downloaded from the NTA website (a clear printout on A4 size paper) duly filled in.
- Additional passport-size photograph for pasting on the Attendance Sheet
- Original valid ID proof
- A simple transparent Ball Point Pen/ Pencil / Erasers / Ruler (In a transparent pouch)/ A-4 Transparent Acrylic Board (for B.Des./M.Des. candidates)
Exam Day Instructions
- Reach on Time: Arrive at the exam center at least an hour before the reporting time.
- Aadhar Card Verification:Candidates should bring their Aadhaar card, as verification will primarily be done through Aadhaar authentication, starting with thumbprint biometrics.If thumbprints fail to match, iris biometrics will be used. Candidates without an Aadhaar card will be verified through alternative means, and this process will be documented in an Exception Form.
- No Electronic Devices: Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, etc., are strictly prohibited.
- Fill Attendance Sheet: Use legible handwriting, provide your signature, and paste your photograph.
- Candidates must complete their admit card before arriving at the center by filling in the required details, affixing their photograph, and placing a clear, unsmudged left-hand thumb impression in the designated area.
- Candidates appearing for both B.Des and M.Des programs must bring two sets of admit cards to their respective exam centers.
- PwD:PwD candidates claiming relaxation must bring a certificate from the Competent Authority.
Those with physical disabilities should arrive early for entry assistance.
PwD candidates with writing limitations will receive 20 minutes of compensatory time per exam hour, regardless of scribe use.
Scribes are provided only if certified by a government medical professional and requested in the application form.
Scribe facilities are not available for the Creative Ability Test (CAT).
Candidates can choose their own scribe or request one from the NTA, as indicated in their application.
