Admission Process for Design Courses in Delhi
The Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD) is one of the leading design colleges in Delhi offering design courses. The admission process for IIAD includes iDAT/iMAT and a personal interview. Students with a minimum of 50% marks in their 10+2 examination are eligible to apply for the courses. IIAD offers design courses in Delhi such as Fashion Design, Communication Design, and Interior Architecture & Design, among others. The institute also offers scholarships based on merit and need.

Eligibility
Undergraduate Programme
For Undergraduate Programme, Candidates with 10+2 or equivalent in any stream (Science, Commerce, Humanities/Arts) with an aggregate of minimum 50% are eligible to apply. Candidates appearing for Class XII examination in the current academic year or awaiting results may also apply. Candidates are accepted from CBSE/ISC/State/IB or any other equivalent Indian or International Higher Secondary Board.
Postgraduate Programme
For Postgraduate Programme, Graduates in any stream or discipline from a recognised institute/university are eligible to apply. Final year graduate students or students awaiting results may also apply.
ENTRANCE EXAMS
IIAD Design Aptitude Test (IDAT)
Undergraduate design programmes including Communication Design, Interior Architecture & Design, Fashion Communication and Fashion Design require applicants to undergo iDAT exam as a part of entrance screening.
The IIAD Design Aptitude Test (IDAT) is a written test designed to assess a candidate’s creative and visual ability, cultural awareness and logical thinking. The exam paper is a combination of visual tasks, writing tasks, one-word answers and multiple choice questions.

SCHOLARSHIP
IIAD provides merit-cum-means scholarships to deserving students. All students who qualify the IIAD Entrance Test are eligible to apply for scholarship. The information about applying for a scholarship will be made available along with the offer of admission.
Scholarship is granted on the basis of performance in the IIAD Entrance Test, the Statement of Purpose in the scholarship form as well as the financial need of the student.
