What is the Eligibility Criteria to apply for programs at the Institute ?
1. The candidates seeking admission in the 1st year of Degree Programme leading to Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) shall have passed the HSC examination (10+2) or any other recognized examination considered as equivalent by Nirma University with minimum 50% aggregate marks.
OR
2. The candidates holding 10+3 year Diploma approved by State Board of Technical Education or any other board/university as considered equivalent by Nirma University, with minimum 50% aggregate marks will also be considered eligible.
3.Students who have passed Class XII (or equivalent) in 2019, or appearing in 2020, in ANY STREAM (Science, Commerce, or Arts & Humanities) are eligible to apply for admissions 2020.
However the above prescribed eligibility pertaining to % of marks will be applicable for admission.

Filling Online Application Form
1. Applicants should register a new user account in the website of Department of Design, Nirma University to log into the online application form. The login details will be used for filling the admission form and checking the status of the application later.
2. After successful login the admission form will be displayed.
3. Applicants need to fill their personal and basic information in the online application form available on the website along with the non-refundable application processing fee of INR 2000/- only. (NRI & NRI Sponsored students will have to pay INR 3000/- as the application processing fee).
4. The payment should be made online by credit card/debit card/net banking.

The Department of Design at Nirma University invites Industry to work with our multi-faceted faculty member team and student-designers on live working projects.
The Department of Design at Nirma University conducts Industry Training programmes from time to time. These are often short two or three-day design workshops and if desired for longer durations.
The training events will be in the form of Design Workshops, Design Labs as well as Design Camps which be special immersive workshops on the design process and design thinking for industry.
