How to Apply for UCEED 2026
Step 1: Registration on UCEED Portal
- Visit the official UCEED portal: https://uceedapp.iitb.ac.in/
- Click on “New User? Register Here”.

- Fill in your Name, Email, Mobile Number, and Date of Birth.
- Click Submit.

“An email with the activation URL has been sent to the email specified by you. Kindly click on the activation URL within 12 hours and fill the details as directed. Your registration process will be completed ONLY after successful submission of personal details displayed at the activation URL.”
Step 2: Activate Your Account
- Check your email inbox for the activation email from UCEED.
- Click the activation URL within 12 hours.
- Set your password on the redirected login page.
- Important: The account will not be active if you miss the 12-hour window.
Step 3: Log in and Fill Personal Details
- Log in with your registered email and password.
- Fill all personal details (address, gender, nationality, category).
- Upload your photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
- Tip: Use a clear, recent passport-size photograph and scanned signature for smooth verification.
Step 4: Fill Academic Details
- Enter Class 10 and Class 12 exam details (board, year, marks).
- Provide details of any diploma or equivalent qualification, if applicable.
Step 5: Upload Required Documents
- Prepare all documents in JPEG or PDF format.
- Upload the following:

- Passport-sized Photograph
- Signature
- Category Certificate (if applicable)
- ID Proof (Aadhaar, Passport, or School ID)
Step 6: Pay Application Fee
- Select the fee category (General, OBC-NCL, SC/ST/PwD, or Foreign).
- Pay online following the instructions on the portal.
- Wait for confirmation of successful payment.
- Tip: Ensure payment is successful; otherwise, your application will not be submitted.
Step 7: Review & Submit
- Carefully review all entered details.
- Make corrections if needed.
- Click Submit to complete the application process.
- Download the confirmation page for your records.
Step 8: Prepare for UCEED
- After submission, start preparing for the exam.
- Practice previous year papers and mock tests.
- Focus on creativity, analytical skills, and design thinking.
