DQ 2022 – Seminar, Workshop & Contest (Mumbai)

SILICA provides guidance for creative careers and prepares students for entrance exams like NID, NIFT, UCEED, NATA, JEE Paper 2, ART CET, Foreign Universities etc.

SILICA is conducting “Design Quest 2022” for 12th consecutive year on Sat, 3rd Dec 2022.

The event is for students who have a Creative Spark and Passion for Design, but wondering how to pursue it and what to study to convert it into a rewarding Career.

Venue:

Exhibition Hall, 4th Floor, Bal Gandharv Rangmandir, Sheila Gopal Raheja Auditorium, 24th & 32nd Road, Near Patwardhan Udyan, Bandra (W), Mumbai – 400 050.

The objectives

1. Creating awareness about 45+ career opportunities in Design, Fashion, Architecture & Fine / Applied Arts.
2. Discovering if the student has the right Aptitude & Interest to pursue career in above fields.
3. Option to register for comprehensive Design Career Aptitude Test at SILICA.

Who should attend

Both Student & their Parents must attend.

– Students will understand what Designers & Architects actually do. Get hands on workshop on Design Thinking & Creative Problem Solving. Learn about exams like NID, NIFT, UCEED, NATA etc. Win prizes & certificates in the Contest!

– Parents will learn about opportunities, placements and future possibilities in careers of Design, Fashion, Architecture & Arts. Ask your questions in Q&A session.

The schedule

9.45am to 10.00am – Registration

10.00am to 11.00am – Career Guidance Seminar + Q&A

11.00am to 1.00pm – For Students = Hands on Workshop & Contest (for students)

11.00am to 1.00pm – For Parents = Panel Discussion with Deans of Top Design Schools & Industry Professionals (at Ground floor Auditorium)

Career Fair & Registration

In the same venue, SILICA has organized a Career Fair where Top Design Schools in India will exhibit stalls and will provide information about Design education, careers and entrance exams for admission.

Registration is compulsory to attend this event. Please complete this form to complete your registration. Registration Fee = Rs 150/- per student.

IMPORTANT: If you are already a SILICA Student, please do not register for this event. You have to register for the Seminar & Panel Discussion event. You will get a separate registration link for that event.
