What Is UCEED?

UCEED is the national-level entrance test conducted by IIT Bombay for admission to the B.Des programmes at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Roorkee, IIITDM Jabalpur, and many other design schools that accept UCEED scores.

It evaluates a student’s ability in design thinking, visualization, analytical reasoning, and drawing skills – qualities every successful designer needs.

UCEED 2027 Exam Date and Schedule

UCEED 2027 Exam Pattern

• • Part A (Computer-Based Test): NAT (Numerical Answer Type), MSQ (Multiple Select), and MCQ (Multiple Choice) questions testing visualization, spatial reasoning, environmental awareness, language, and analytical ability.
    
  • Part B (Drawing Test): Two hand-drawing questions (sketching and design aptitude). This section tests creativity, observation and presentation skills.
