The wait is finally over! If you appeared for the JEE Main Paper 2 Session 1 exam, the provisional answer key and your recorded response sheet are now available for viewing. This is your chance to review the official answers, assess your performance, and even challenge the answer key if you believe there are discrepancies. This blog post will guide you through the process of accessing these documents and understanding the answer key challenge process.

Fees:
Fees of ₹ 200/- is to be paid through Debit Card/Credit Card /Net Banking for each question challenged.
How to Access the Answer Key and Response Sheet:
- Go to the official JEE Main website.
- Click “ Challenge regarding Answer Key”.
- Log in using your Application number, Password,enter captcha , and click submit.
- Click “Challenge Answer Key”.
- You will see the below table in sequential order:

- The ID next to the question in the “correct option” column shows the NTA’s chosen answer.
- To challenge the answer, check the box next to any of the other four option IDs.
- Upload supported documents by selecting the “ Choose File and Upload”.
- Click your desired option for Mathematics/Aptitude Test for Paper 2A(B.Arch) and Mathematics/Aptitude Test/Planning based objective type MCQ’S (B.Planning), scroll down and save your claim and move on to the next screen.
- Next you will have all the ID’s that you have challenged.
- Click on “Save your claim and pay the fee finally”.
What to Do After Downloading the Documents:
- Compare Your Answers: Carefully compare your answers in the response sheet with the official answer key.
- Calculate Your Score (Estimate): You can estimate your score based on the answer key. Remember that this is just an estimate, and the actual score might vary slightly.
- Identify Discrepancies: If you find any discrepancies between your answer and the official answer, or if you believe the official answer is incorrect, consider challenging the answer key.
- Prepare Your Challenge (If Applicable): If you decide to challenge an answer, gather all the necessary evidence and prepare your challenge within the stipulated time.
