JEE Paper 2 2025: Important Instructions for Exam
You’ve prepped for months, solved countless practice papers, and now the big day is almost here – JEE Main 2025 Paper 2! Whether you’re aiming for B.Arch or B.Planning, acing this exam is crucial. But besides knowledge, knowing the exam day rules is equally important. Here’s your guide to a smooth and successful JEE Main Paper 2 experience:
Important Instruction for Exam:
Check the details of Admit Card:
- Date of Examination
- Shift and Timings of Test
- Venue of Test
- Reporting Time at Centre
- Gate Closing time of Centre
Visit the exam center in advance: Familiarize yourself with the location and travel route.
Aadhaar-registered candidates: Arrive on time.
Non-Aadhaar registered candidates: Arrive at least 1 hour early for biometric registration.
Reach before gate closing: Latecomers will not be allowed.
No unfair means: Exam centers are under CCTV surveillance and equipped with jammers.
Required Documents:
- Admit card: A clear printout (preferably color) on A4 size paper.
- Passport-sized photographs: Carry at least two. One must be pasted on the attendance sheet.
- Original photo ID: Same as uploaded in the online application. No photocopies or digital images will be accepted.
- PwD/PwBD certificate (if applicable): Bring the original certificate issued by the competent authority. Report early for assistance.
- Scribe-related documents (if applicable): If you opted for a scribe in your application and have the required medical certificate, bring it along.
At the Exam Center:
- Fill attendance sheet: Use legible handwriting, provide your signature, left-hand thumb impression, and paste your photograph.
- Computer-based exam: Familiarize yourself with the computer-based format.
- Verify question paper: Ensure the question paper on your screen matches your chosen subject/medium. If not, inform the invigilator.
Drawing Test (B.Arch):
- Bring your own geometry box, pencils, erasers, and color pencils/crayons.
- Watercolors are NOT allowed.
Prohibited Items:
- No stationery: This includes instrument/geometry/pencil boxes, paper, and textual material.
- No electronic devices: Mobile phones, earphones, calculators, watches with calculators, etc. are prohibited.
- No food or water: Except for diabetic students with specific allowances (see below).
- No bags or metallic items: Handbags, purses, and any metallic items are not allowed.
Diabetic Students:
- Allowed to bring sugar tablets/fruits (bananas, apples, oranges) and transparent water bottles.
- No packed food (chocolates, candy, sandwiches, etc.) allowed.
Other Important Instructions:
- Biometric attendance: Mandatory frisking and biometric attendance will be conducted, including after bio-breaks.
- Rough sheets: Blank A4 size sheets will be provided. Write your name and roll number on each sheet and drop them in the designated box before leaving.
- Submit admit card: Drop your filled-in admit card in the designated box before leaving.
- Read all instructions: Carefully review the instructions on the question paper, admit card, and information bulletin.
