The design entrance exams UCEED / CEED were conducted last month. the U/CEED cutoff marks for Part-A has been released on February 6th, 2025.

UCEED cutoff is the minimum marks required by students to qualify the Part-A of the UCEED exam. This means that those who have scored equal to or more than cutoff marks are qualified, and they are considered by colleges to join their design courses.

– How is U/CEED 2025 cut off determined?

Indian Institute of Technology – IIT Bombay has made some changes in the way U/CEED 2025 cut-off marks is determined. More specifically, the formula which was previously used to calculate U/CEED cut-off marks has been changed. Marks will now be calculated in the following manner:

– U/CEED Cut-off

The UCEED Part-A mean cutoff is 61.50 and the standard deviation of the same is 25.69. The CEED Mean is 45.68and standard deviation is 16.98

For UCEED

Cutoffs are determined as follows:
– OPEN: Cutoff = Mean + (SD/2)
– OBC-NCL/EWS: 0.98 x OPEN Cutoff
– SC/ST/PwD: 0.5 x OPEN Cutoff

Open = 74.35

OBC-NCL/EWS = 72.86

SC/ST/PwD = 37.18

For CEED

Cutoffs are determined as follows:
– OPEN: Cutoff = Mean + (SD/2)
– OBC-NCL/EWS: 0.98 x OPEN Cutoff
– SC/ST/PwD: 0.5 x OPEN Cutoff

OPEN : 54.17

OBC-NCL/EWS:53.09

SC/ST/PwD: 27.09

In addition, please note that the Part-B paper of those candidates who do not get shortlisted, shall not be evaluated.
