Architecture Entrance Exam Patterns (NATA & JEE)
NATA and JEE exams are for 3 hours each and follow a similar pattern.
|1. Drawing||1.5 Hours||2||80|
|2. Aptitude||1.5 Hours||40||80|
|JEE PAPER 2|
|1. Drawing||1.5 Hours||2||70|
|2. Aptitude||1.5 Hours||50||200|
BASIS OF MERIT LIST FOR ADMISSION
|MARKS OBTAINED IN||WEIGHTAGE|
|1. NATA / JEE PAPER 2||50%|
|2. Aggregate % in 10+2 / 10+3 exam||50%|
Let’s take an example
|Marks obtained in||Marks in Exam||Marks out of 50|
|1. NATA / JEE PAPER 2||150/200||37|
|2. XII Exam||90/100||45.0|
|Merit Score out of 100||82.5|
NOTE: If there are 99 students with a merit score greater than 82.5, then this student’s merit rank will be 100. Thus you will note, studying for XII Std is as important as studying for the NATA / JEE (B.Arch) exam. A good score in XII Exam is 85%.
