The application for the NID 2023 entrance exam will begin from October 2022. The NID DAT prelims 2023 will be held in January followed by the DAT Mains in April / May 2023. The NID DAT Prelims is a 100 marks written exam which generally has 2 parts. For BDes, Part A is objective and Part B is subjective. NATA

The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is a test used to measure the aptitude of the applicant for courses in architecture. It is conducted by the Council of Architecture. Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) is an entrance exam conducted for undergraduate studies in the design field. Clearing the UCEED exam can get you admission to B.Des programs at IIT’s in Mumbai, Guwahati, and Hyderabad. There are other colleges which accept the UCEED scores as well. The UCEED question paper consists of 2 Parts- Part A is for 240 marks and is a computer based Objective test. Part B is for 60 marks and is a paper based Drawing Test. Part A has 3 types of questions namely, Numerical Answer Type, Multiple Select Questions, and Multiple Choice Questions. The total marks are 300.

Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) is a national level entrance exam. This exam gets you admissions to masters in design programs in IIT’s and prestigious private universities. The CEED question paper consists of 2 Parts- Part A is for 100 marks and is a computer based Objective test. Part B is for 100 marks and is a paper based Test including questions on Sketching, Visual Sensitivity, Creativity, Problem Solving & Form Sensitivity. Part A has 3 types of questions namely, Numerical Answer Type, Multiple Select Questions, and Multiple Choice Questions. The total marks are 200.
