The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2024, established by the Ministry of Education (formerly the Ministry of Human Resources Development), plays a pivotal role in managing and regulating seat allocation across 121 prestigious institutes for the academic year 2024-25. These institutes include 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs, and 40 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs).
