Kharagpur, and many other colleges that offer architecture degrees in India.\u00a0<\/span>In addition to NATA being one of the major examinations for admission to B.Arch courses by prominent colleges, JEE Main B.Arch Paper (also known as JEE Main Paper 2) is now also being considered as one of the screening tests for admissions to B.Arch and B.Plan.<\/span><\/p>\n

Authority conducting JEE exam<\/b><\/p>\n

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the JEE Main exam(JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION). There are two papers, Paper-I and Paper-II. Candidates can select either or both. Both papers contain multiple-choice questions. Paper-I is for admission to a B.E.\/B.Tech course and is conducted via Computer Based Test mode. <\/span>For admission to B.Arch and B.Planning courses, paper-II will also be conducted in the computer-based test mode, except for one paper, namely ‘the Drawing Test’, which will be administered in pen and paper or offline mode.\u00a0<\/span>Candidates who wish to enter the B. Arch. and B. Design courses must qualify first in paper-II of the JEE (Main), and then in the Advanced Aptitude Test that will be conducted in all Zonal IITs.<\/span><\/p>\n

JEE Exam dates<\/b><\/p>\n

According to the NTA, the April session exam dates for Paper 2 have been revised. Exams will now take place on 21, 24, 25, 29 April and 1, 4 May instead of the date originally scheduled. The May session exam date remains unchanged at 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, and 29 May 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n

JEE Exam pattern<\/b><\/p>\n

The NTA will release the JEE Main paper 2<\/a> syllabus along with the information booklet. The syllabus for paper 2 of JEE Main for B.Arch and B.Plan will be available once released by the NTA.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
