Pearl Academy exam will be held in online mode by Pearl Academy for admission cycles- January, April. The written test includes two stages. Candidates can check complete details about the exam pattern of Pearl Academy below:<\/p>\n
Stage 1- Written Admission Test GPT and DAT<\/b><\/p>\n
GPT:<\/b>\u00a0General Proficiency Test, commonly known as GPT, will be conducted for one hour. Candidates will be evaluated on various parameters such as Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation, Basic Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, English language, etc.<\/p>\n
DAT:<\/b>\u00a0The next exam is the Design Aptitude Test (DAT), and candidates will be given two hours to complete it. Their aptitude for the power of observation & imagination, communication skills, sensitivity to the environment, creativity, drawing and design ability, etc. will be assessed from this test.<\/p>\n
MAT:<\/b>\u00a0Media Aptitude Test (MAT) assesses a media school candidate’s aptitude for creative thinking, visual expression, command over language and power of observation.<\/p>\n
Stage 2- Personal Interview<\/b><\/p>\n
Candidates will have to appear for a personal interview (PI) at the particular exam centre\/ personal interview centre after the selection rounds i.e., GPT and DAT. This will also involve a portfolio evaluation\/ material managing skill test.<\/p>\n
